Coaching at Melrose Arch
The coaches at RBCLUB focus on the overall experience in each lesson. We offer group lessons, private & semi-private lessons, game play tactic sessions & Squads. These lessons are for beginners, intermediate players & advanced high performance players.
Coaches focus on technique, rules, game play scenarios, kids padel clinics, backhand & forehand play, lobs, smashes, net play, back glass techniques and more!
All Racket & Ball Club coaches are PadelMBA qualified coaches.

With our PADEL MBA-qualified padel coaches, every lesson is an experience where you sharpen your skills, master tactics, and build confidence with every rally. Ruben Loubser
Ruben has a Tennis coaching background and transitioned to Padel in 2021. He currently has over 11 years experience in tennis coaching and over 2 years in Padel coaching. He is a qualified PadelMBA Head Coach. He can work with any age or ability and specialises in beginner and intermediate players. Creating an understanding of how the game should be played, where to position yourself and tactics to play.
Conor Roebuck
Conor Roebuck is a qualified padel MBA HEAD coach. He is an avid sports enthusiast with a deep passion for playing and coaching. His primary focus is on padel, where he not only competes but also dedicate his time to coaching others. He believes in the power of sports to bring people together and enhance communities. His goal is to grow the padel community by sharing his skills, knowledge, and enthusiasm, creating opportunities for players of all levels to connect, improve, and enjoy the game. Through coaching and active involvement, he aims to foster a supportive and vibrant environment where everyone can thrive and appreciate the sport as much as he does. He can do beginners all the way to advanced. He specializes in kids coaching!

Book a teambuilding session or tournament for your company. Below find estimates on team building tournament packages. Please note the costs below are estimates only but include: balls, court bookings, racket rentals and a team to manage your event.
We have 8 courts and have run team buildings for over 150 people. We have the team and the facilities to give you the best possible experience.

The Racket and Ball Club: Melrose Arch – Membership Terms & Conditions
Court Bookings & Usage
- Members are limited to 2 court booking per day. Additional walk-in bookings may be allowed based on availability.
- A maximum of 15 active bookings is allowed on Playtomic at any given time.
- Court booking, Shott and pro shop discounts only apply to Melrose Arch
- Members can book courts up to 5 weeks in advance, while non-members may only book 12 days in advance.
- Court discounts only apply to members part of the booking.
- 60min, 90min and 120min bookings only.
- Members cannot book and pay for a full court alone. Split payments are required. If other players do not complete payment, the member will be liable for the unpaid portion.
- For events, parties or group bookings, please contact the club directly for discounted group rates.
Payments & Discounts
- Shott Café and Pro Shop discounts do not apply to promotional items or ongoing sales.
- Pro shop and restaurant discounts are only valid when a member is making full payment of the outstanding amount. No Split bills
- Cryo Sessions to be booked directly with Human Performance Lab. Bree Street branch or Melrose Arch Branch.
- Membership will run for a 12-month period or 6 Month period. Depending on which one you purchase.
- You will be reminded by playtomic and RBC to renew your membership. If you don not renew you will lose all your benefits.
- No refunds will be issued for unused benefits, due to injury, death, or any other reason.
- Allow up to 24 hours for your membership benefits to be fully activated.
- All Shott and Pro Shop discount will be applied to your purchase by simply providing your name and surname or alternatively by scanning your digital membership QR Code.
Lesson & Event Access
- Please reach out to one of our coaches for your complimentary 30min session or racket fitting
- You may not book on behalf of another person.
- No-shows will be charged at the full booking rate.
- These terms apply only to the Melrose Arch Branch and are valid for outdoor court bookings only
- The club has the right to cancel or suspend your membership at any given time due to negligence, causing harm to the club, your fellow members or any other valid reason.
